Children's Work in Ashwood
We cater for four children’s age groups during Sunday morning meetings.
These are:
- Minizone – Ages 0 to 4s
- Kidzone – Ages 5 to 7s
- Y zone – Ages 8 to 10s
- O zone – Ages 11s to 14s
The sessions last roughly 45 – 50 minutes and contains a combination of some of the following, depending on the age-group:
- Bible story
- discussion, games
- drama
- art & craft
- prayer
- structured & free play
- praise & worship
At present we follow material from Urban Saints Energize Teaching Programme for each of the four age groups. Each age group has a team of 4 leaders who work on a 1 in 4 – week rota. One leader and at least one helper or parent leads each session.
